Terms of participation

Participation in the competition of Echo Impact Exchange GmbH, hereinafter referred to as operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.

Course of the competition
The duration of round 1 of the competition extends from 24.08.2022 – 31.08.2022. Round 2 goes from September 1st to September 7th. Round 3 goes from September 29th to October 10th. Round 4 goes from October 28th to November 8th. Round 5 goes from Dec. 5th to 21st. Within these periods, users will be given the opportunity to enter the competition online.

Participation
In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to participate in online trading on the webapp provided by Echo Impact Exchange (app.echo-exchange.com/) within the time frame indicated above. Activities are rewarded based on the amount of settled trades. Every Buy Order and every Sell Order is equivalent to one point. Unsettled orders will be disregarded. Trades completed after the closing date will not be considered in the ranking. Participation is only possible within the entry period and requires the registration of a user account.

Participation in the competition is free of charge.

Eligibility
Eligible to participate are natural persons who are resident in Germany or the European Union and have reached the age of 14. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

Should a participant be restricted in their legal capacity, the consent of a legal representative is required.

Not eligible to participate in the competition are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator as well as their family members. In addition, the operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example

(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the prize game, (b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair actions or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the prize game.

Winning, notification and transmission of the prize
Users will be ranked according to the amount of points collected. The following prizes will be awarded in round 1 and 2:

• 1st place: 50€ gift voucher at patagonia, Inc. (https://eu.patagonia.com) in round 1/50€ voucher at avocadostore.de in round 2 + 5000 Echo Coins
• 2nd place – 5th place: 2500 Echo Coins each
• Place 5 – 10: 500 Echo Coins each
• Places 11 – 100: raffle of 10 x 250 Echo Coins!

The following prices will be awarded in round 3 and 4. Gift cards for round 3 and 4 will be for armedangels (Social Fashion Company GmbH, https://www.armedangels.com/de-en/imprint).

• 1st place: 50€ gift card + 5000 echo coins (Ǝ)
• 2nd place: 40€ gift card + 4000 Ǝ
• 3rd place: 30€ gift card + 3000 Ǝ 
• Rank 4 – 10: 2000 Ǝ each!
• Rank 10 – 100: raffle of 10 x 500 Ǝ

The following prices will be awarded in round 5. Gift cards will be for amazon (amazon.de).

• 1st place: 50€ gift card + 5000 echo coins (Ǝ)
• 2nd place: 40€ gift card + 4000 Ǝ
• 3rd place: 30€ gift card + 3000 Ǝ 
• Rank 4 – 10: 2000 Ǝ each!
• Rank 10 – 100: raffle of 10 x 500 Ǝ

The winners will be determined after the closing date by comparing the amount of points collect during the entry period. Places 1 – 10 will be notified about their specific rank and informed about the price. The Echo coins will be transmitted to the wallet of the account that was used for participating on the Echo Exchange web application. The gift voucher will be transmitted via email to the recipient.

All participants placed 11 – 100 will be entered into a random draw. All participants will be notified about ranking among the top 100 traders in this particular round. The winners of the raffle will be notified about their win. The Echo coins will be transmitted to the wallet of the account that was used for participating on the Echo Exchange web application.

All winners will be informed about the prize in a timely manner via a separate email.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner or to the legal representative of the underage winner. An exchange, a self-collection as well as a cash payment of the prize are not possible.

Any costs incurred for shipping the prizes will be borne by the operator (within the European Union). Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 3 weeks, the prize can be transferred to another participant.

Termination of the competition
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.

Data protection
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, last name and email address, are true and correct.

The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor given to them for use without consent.

In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the operator and its social media platforms.

The participant may revoke his/her declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details of the organizer provided in the imprint area of the Echo app. After revocation of the consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.
