Echo is a trading platform for impact rating. That’s right: you can rate companies’ impact by trading their impact certificates. Joining Echo is free for the time being and the profits you make from trading with the Echo Coin (Ǝ) will become convertible to other currencies in 2023!
Part 2: Our currency
After you have participated in your first Onboarding (see part 1 of this series), you will have some immies in your portfolio. Want to buy more of those immies you rated higher than the market average? Sure thing! And you don’t have to sell any of your immies to do so. For you will also receive some Echo tokens (Ǝ) for your participation.
What is Ǝ? Ǝ, read: “echoes”, is the currency we use on Echo. For a market not only needs something to trade (immies) but also a kind of money to work. For us, that is echoes.
Phase 1: Ǝ for free
When Echo goes live, the only way for you get additional Ǝ is to participate in activities on Echo. You will get Ǝ for:
- – participation in Onboardings
- – posting outstanding content on our forum
- – winning trading contests
- – getting other users to join the impact revolution
- – …
Here is the good part: Since you cannot get Ǝ other than by participating in Echo, nobody will have an unfair starting advantage. Everybody’s “vote” by buying and selling immies counts the same.
And here is the really good part: You get Ǝ for free. You don’t have to invest any €, $ or whatever to be an agent of change on Echo. This also means: there is no risk of losing money.
This is how we reward “early birds”: no risk but a huge chance for rewards (once we will make Ǝ freely tradeable in phase 2).
Phase 2: Exchange Ǝ for €
Every market needs a currency and so does Echo. Once Echo is up and running smoothly, we will make Ǝ freely exchangeable in two steps. First: buy-in for latecomers. Second: buy-in & buy-out possible.
Like this, we allow those joining Echo later to be game changers, too. And you get the chance to profit from the successful trades you’ve made so far. If everybody joins forces, we revolutionize how impact is measured.
